ELARO began with a simple frustration: most pet products were either purely functional or purely decorative. We wanted both — objects that worked beautifully and looked like they belonged in a considered home.

The name ELARO comes from a Nordic word root meaning clarity. It reflects how we approach every product we make: strip away what isn't necessary, keep what genuinely serves the animal and the person who loves them.

Our design process starts not with aesthetics, but with behaviour. How does a dog move through a doorway? How does a cat choose where to rest? What does a pet owner reach for first thing in the morning? These questions shape everything — the curve of a bowl, the width of a collar, the weight of a leash clip.

We work with a small number of makers in Scandinavia and Northern Europe who share our commitment to material honesty. No coatings that mask inferior materials. No hardware that looks good in photos but fails in use. What you see is what it is.

We are not trying to build the biggest pet brand. We are trying to build the most considered one — one product at a time, made to last, designed to disappear into your daily life in the best possible way.
